Brittany Murphy's sudden death leaves in question the fate of several of her films -- and some mix-ups about what those last films even are. The late actress was widely reported to be starring in 'The Expendables,' directed by Sylvester Stallone, but now Stallone's rep tells Moviefone that, although Murphy is listed among the cast on IMDB, she is not in the film.

Murphy had just returned to a busy film slate after taking a break from Hollywood following her May 2007 marriage to Simon Monjack. Her most recent film 'Across the Hall' was released on December 4 and a previous film, 'Deadline,' went straight to DVD on December 1.

According to Access Hollywood, Murphy had completed production on the thriller 'Abandoned' with Dean Cain and Mimi Rogers and was currently filming another suspense film, 'Something Wicked.'

She had been working in Puerto Rico on 'The Caller,' but left due to "creative differences," although Perez Hilton reported that Murphy had been fired and replaced with 'Twilight' actress Rachelle Lefevre.

IMDB also lists one other Murphy film as being in post-production: 'Shrinking Charlotte,' described on IMDB by the director as "A romantic comedy about three single men who stalk and date a woman in therapy in order to learn about honesty, fate, and eventually love." Its release date, according to Trueblood.net (the film co-stars 'True Blood's Sam Trammell) is July 14, 2010. Another film, 'The White Hotel,' based on the D.M. Thomas novel, was to have been produced by her husband.

Calls to Murphy's publicist for comment on the status of her unreleased films were not immediately returned.
