I'm typically not one to jump all over what are essentially previews of previews, but when it comes to Iron Man 2, I'm willing to make an exception. The full trailer for Jon Favreau's follow up to his immensely successful delivery of Marvel's Iron Man on the big screen should be attached to theatrical prints of Sherlock Holmes arriving in theaters Friday, December 25th, but in Internet time that may as well be eight months from now.

In the meantime, there are a number of ways you can sate your instinctual need for Robert Downey Jr. as a war-hating superhero. The best is probably taking a gander at Entertainment Tonight's promo for their forthcoming episode about the make of the film, which is embedded below. Sure, it's got the same voice over and logo watermarking a film nerd has come to expect from the nightly outlet, but unless you were at Comic Con last summer or Butt-Numb-a-Thon last weekend, this is probably the first glimpse you'll have at seeing where they've taken Tony Stark or how badass they've made Whiplash (Mickey Rourke). Plus, it's only 30 seconds long, so it's not as though watching it is going to eat up your entire day.

And if you're so inclined, TheMovieBox.net also has a convenient round up of behind-the-scenes looks and interviews available on the web. Most are also from Entertainment Tonight, but TMB has found a few other outlets with backstage looks as well. So click on down for the promo previews and click on over here for even more goodies to whet your Iron Man 2 appetite.
