If there's one thing I love about this crazy mashup/remix culture of ours, it's that it has allowed the creativity of my fellow movie geeks to shine (and what lovely creations they make). Now we've had plenty of those kinds of trailers that are all about a little subversion around these parts, but not this time. After all, it's just about the end of the year, which makes it the perfect time for some reflection on the year that was. Luckily we have people like Justin Niemeyer (who's been featured here before for his uncanny way with a trailer mashup), who have the time and the skill to not just combine two movies, but condense an entire year's worth of releases into one handy little mashup.

Niemeyer's tribute to 2009 has over 150 cuts and runs the gamut of the year in movies by including clips from everything from blockbuster battling robots to smaller flicks, and he even works in a couple of films that haven't even been released yet. Niemeyer transformed clips from some of the biggest and best of 2009 into 1:39 seconds of pure trailer magic, and it even has its own soundtrack. Unfortunately, it all goes by so quickly, you might want to watch it more than once just to make sure you caught it all -- lord knows I had to.

So take a look and tell me if you can name all the movies, and leave your 'score' in the comments below...
