Awesome news from AliensvsPredator.net earlier this week. The site has posted that Lance Henriksen is now part of Sega's upcoming Aliens vs. Predator game.

Henriksen is an Alien series stalwart (he played Bishop, in case you didn't know) and all around badass actor. Even the crappiest movies are a little better thanks to Lance's presence. He'll be playing Karl Bishop Weyland, a descendant of Charles Bishop Weyland, from the first Alien vs. Predator film. I'm not a huge fan of the first AVP movie, but Lance was one of the highlights.

The actor, who is no stranger to lending his voice to games (he's appeared in Mass Effect and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 amongst others), had this to say about his latest project.

"They've made me look very good," said Henriksen, "This is the first time I've been fully represented in a game, with my voice and how I look, and the Rebellion guys have done a great job. I might score from this game!"

Aliens vs. Predator will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in February of 2010.
