We've known for quite some time now that EA's updated (and radically altered) videogame version of Dante's Inferno was hitting retailers on February 10th of next year. What we didn't know until yesterday was that the spiffy looking DVD animated movie tie-in to the title would be releasing one day earlier. That's right, starting on February 9th, you'll be able to check out Dante's Inferno: The Animated Epic on DVD and Blu-ray courtesy of Anchor Bay. That's a whole lotta Hell in two days time. Here's are some highlights from the official press release.

Animation studio Film Roman (the talent behind last year's Dead Space: Downfall) worked closely with the EA and Visceral Games creative team, the title is set to feature not only the talents of Film Roman, but work from other studios (including Production IG, Dongwoo, and JM Animation). The feature also boasts voice-over work by Mark Hamill, Victoria Tennant, Vanessa Branch, and Graham McTavish.
