"What people loved about 'The Hangover' was not Las Vegas or the bachelor party but these three characters," Phillips says. "I think you can take those characters and put them in other situations, and you don't need the sell of Vegas and a bachelor party and all that other stuff."

'The Hangover' Trailer

The only thing we know for sure is that the sequel will reunite the trio of Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis. That got us thinking about some possible plots for the movie:

The "Fat/Sexy Bastard" Scenario: The wives/girlfriends of Phil, Stu and Alan make a frantic, early-morning phonecall to the guys – they had a wild girls' night out and somehow got sold into a sex slavery ring (run by 'Harold and Kumar''s John Cho). The guys must relive the girls' night out -- including trips to a nail salon, Chippendales and a Pampered Chef party -- in order to rescue the women before they are forced to perform unspeakable acts on a crazed businessman played by Mike Myers in a fat suit.

The "Choose Your Own Pleasure" Scenario: The guys are at a bar on the eve of Phil's 40th birthday. A strange man drinking at the bar (played by Christopher Walken) gives Phil a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book that will guarantee them the best night ever. The guys must make a series of choices such as: if you get a private dance from the stripper, turn to page 43. If you punch the bouncer and leave the club with shot girl, turn to page 184. They are allowed to flip back through the book until they are satisfied with the ending.

The "Back to School" Scenario: Stu finds out that he never actually earned his college diploma and must repeat his final semester of college or lose his license to practice dentistry. The three friends enroll at a university (where the Dean of Studies is played by Snoop Dogg). They wake up hungover on the morning before graduation and realize that they have been drunk for the entire semester and must help Stu pass all of his final exams in one day.
