As 'New Moon' fans eagerly count down the days to its November 20 release, Summit Entertainment has just revealed a new behind-the-scenes clip detailing the role of werewolves in the story.

The clip, a combination of actual movie footage and the CGI required to bring it to life, features interviews with Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan), Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black), Chaske Spencer (Sam Uley), and Alex Meraz (Paul) discussing their characters, the interaction between the wolfpack and how the cast and crew drew on the real personalities of wolves to shape their performances. Director Chris Weitz also makes an appearance to discuss the treaty between the wolves and the Cullens.

The clip also provides a partial look the myriad steps animators must go through to bring their creations to the big screen. Among the numerous interviews presented in the clip, our favorite quote has to go to Animation Supervisor Tom Gibbons, whose "Our job is to basically climb inside the skin and find out what it is to be a wolf" line sounds, out of context, like the testimony of a psychotic Animal Planet host.
