Damon stars as Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller, a rogue U.S. Army officer who travels to Iraq on a mission to uncover weapons of mass destruction. Not shockingly, what he uncovers puts his life in jeopardy.

Based on what's depicted in the trailer, Damon and Greengrass are up to their old tricks, with Damon going up against the powers-that-be, getting in and out of life-threatening jams with his strong wits and even stronger firepower. Amy Ryan plays a Wall Street Journal reporter investigating WMDs and Greg Kinnear and Brendan Gleeson play CIA operatives.

The film is based on the 2006 book 'Imperial Life in the Emerald City' by journalist Rajiv Chandrasekaran; the Green Zone of the movie title refers to a fortified area in central Baghdad that served as the original headquarters for Saddam Hussein's government.

We hope that 'Green Zone' turns out to be more than just a slam-bam actioner; with Damon's presence, the film may be a real political thriller about the War in Iraq that just might turn some heads. Take a look at the trailer and let us know what you think.
