Other new actors in the third installment of 'Toy Story' include Michael Keaton, Whoopi Goldberg, Bonnie Hunt and Jeff Garlin.

Clark will reprise the Slinky dog role left vacant by pal Jim Varney's death in 2000. Clark is "channeling" Varney in early readings, Unkrich said.

Schaal will play a character yet to be named, and is riding a career wave thanks to 'The Daily Show,' and this year's 'The Vampire's Assistant' and 'The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard.'

The plot involves a now 18-year-old Andy -- the kid of the mid '90s -- leaving his toys behind when he heads off to college. Because toga parties where you play with dolls just aren't as popular as they used to be.
