The next generation of Wayanses bring the spoofery in 'Dance Flick,' while Jason Statham has heart problems once again in 'Crank: High Voltage.' Get the full scoop on this week's DVD releases, plus our recommendations from weeks' past. 'Dance Flick'
What It's About: A whole new batch of Wayanses (director Damien Dante Wayans, stars Damon Wayans Jr. and Craig Wayans) carry on the family tradition, spoofing teen-targeted movies like 'Save the Last Dance' and 'Step Up.'
It's Kind of Like: 'Scary Movie,' 'Disaster Movie,' 'Epic Movie,' 'Date Movie'
What Critics Say: Reviewers carried on their own tradition of slamming this latest broad satire; the flick received a not-so-spectacular 19 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Apparently the farting ballerina and beatboxing vagina gags went over their heads.

'Crank: High Voltage'
What It's About: What's a guy gotta do to have some regular cardio? After being injected with poison that would kill him if his heart rate dropped in 'Crank,' this time Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) must kick all that ass with a battery-powered ticker.
Tagline of the Year? He was dead... But he got better
What Critics Say: Like with the first 'Crank,' critics were surprising kind to Part 2; the actioner earned a 61 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, besting its predecessor by one percent. Said The Onion: "It'd be silly to call 'Crank: High Voltage' over the top: The top is so far below that it isn't even visible." 'Crank 3' (is it about time Chev gets a baboon heart?) is probably on the way.
