Think your job sucks? It could always be worse.

Director Mike Judge, who crafted the seminal "work sucks" comedy with the 1999 cult classic 'Office Space,' is back at it with 'Extract,' another movie that invites us all to laugh, not cry, about our day jobs.

It's the latest work-set movie that could leave you feeling just a little bit better about your own 9 to 5 (or 7 or 8). We look at 15 of the most horrendous screen occupations below. (Then again, if you are in fact a drive-thru attendant or prostitute, let us apologize in advance.) Think your job sucks? It could always be worse.

Convenience Store Clerk
As Seen In: 'Clerks'
Why the Job Stinks: In Kevin Smith's 1994 slacker anthem, video store layabout Randall (Jeff Anderson) bugs convenience store clerk Dante (Brian O'Halloran) by selling cigarettes to 10-year-old girls and ruminating on porn; Dante's trials also include an orally fixated girlfriend and a dead geezer on the toilet. And he's not even supposed to be here today!

Office Drone
As Seen In: 'Office Space'
Why the Job Stinks: Cover sheets on TPS reports. Claustrophobic cubicles. A boss who won't keep his slimy hands off your prized red stapler. Working at Initech sucks worse than Michael Bolton. At least Milton (Stephen Root) has an early retirement plan to leave his 'Office Space' in the dust.

Drug Mule
As Seen In: 'Maria Full of Grace'
Why the Job Stinks: Tired of paperwork? Try being a mule, as Maria (Catalina Sandino Moreno) does in 'Maria Full of Grace.' Even after swallowing some 60 heroin pellets, lying your way past customs and avoiding death via overdose, you'll still have to deal with murderous drug dealers. We'll take the desk job.

Garbage Collector
As Seen In: 'Men at Work'
Why the Job Stinks: How could it not stink? In 'Men at Work,' Charlie Sheen and bro Emilio Estevez tote trash for a living. After finding a dead body among their daily refuse haul, the two slackers get ambitious and set out to find the killer. The worst part? They don't even get overtime for it.

Amusement Park Worker
As Seen In: 'Adventureland'
Why the Job Stinks: Instead of going to Europe the summer before college, James (Jesse Eisenberg) gets to work at 'Adventureland' ... awesome. He and the other misfits perform such mind-numbing and degrading tasks as cleaning up barf on the tilt-a-whirl and making the water-pistol horse race exciting. You can bet that if any of the staffers won the Super Bowl, they'd be going anywhere but Disney Land.

Secretary/Assistant
As Seen In: '9 to 5'
Why the Job Stinks: Want to move ahead, but your boss won't seem to let you? Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda can relate. They work '9 to 5' as unappreciated secretaries for a "sexist, egotistical" manager (Dabney Coleman). Of course, they eventually take him down, but until then, the humiliation's enough to drive you crazy ... if you let it.

Prostitute
As Seen In: 'Pretty Woman'
Why the Job Stinks: Julia Roberts' Vivian may have nabbed a knight in shining sports car while turning tricks in this beloved Cinderella story, but what she endures for a fairy-tale ending serves as a constant reminder of what she used to be: a hooker. And we all know most Johns don't look anything like Richard Gere.
See Also: 'Monster'

Crime Scene Cleaner
As Seen In: 'Sunshine Cleaning'
Why the Job Stinks: Forget breaking a nail. Partners/sisters Rose (Amy Adams) and Norah Lorkowski (Emily Blunt) are lucky if they can escape the workday without covering themselves in a wide array of freshly spilled bodily fluids in this dark comedy. But hey, there's finally an upside to all those really depressing stories on their local nightly news.

Drive-Thru Attendant/Fast Food Worker
As Seen In: 'American Beauty'
Why the Job Stinks: Lester Burnham (Kevin Spacey) hates his lucrative white-collar job so much, he quits and takes a gig as a drive-thru attendant. The good news: all the fries he can eat. The bad: his bitch-on-wheels wife and her illicit lover come by one afternoon for a post-coital snack. Don't want to know what he put on those burgers.

Lawyer for Satan
As Seen In: 'The Devil's Advocate'
Why the Job Stinks: This one's kind of self-explanatory. But what the hell? First off, Kevin Lomax's (Keanu Reeves) boss is the Devil (Al Pacino). Literally. Secondly, while the benefits and office space may be extraordinary, what's the good of a solid 401(k) when you have no soul? And lastly, that hot redhead Kevin almost sleeps with? She's a demon. And also his sister.

Token Booth Clerk
As Seen In: 'While You Were Sleeping'
Why the Job Stinks: Sandra Bullock's Lucy is a sweet-but-friendless token booth clerk who spends her hours fantasizing about handsome commuter Peter Gallagher. Just when the loneliness of collecting fares for the Chicago El starts to seem unbearable, Lucy's dreamboat falls onto the tracks. But, 'Sleeping' is a romantic comedy, so it's a good thing. We promise.
See Also: 'Big Daddy'

Mall Santa Claus
As Seen In: 'Bad Santa'
Why the Job Stinks: If you're looking to get in the holiday spirit, playing St. Nick at the local mall certainly isn't the way to go. Just ask Willie (Billy Bob Thornton). All he wants is an in so he can rob the joint blind on Christmas Eve, and in exchange he has to endure hours of snotty, urinating kids whining to him about what they want for Christmas (Fraggle Stick Car!). Plus, the mall security brass frown upon it when he shows up to work drunk and pees his Santa pantaloons.

Hotel Maid
As Seen In: 'Blue Crush'
Why the Job Stinks: When they aren't out riding waves and catching rays, Michelle Rodriguez, Kate Bosworth and Sanoe Lake toil away as hotel maids in 'Blue Crush,' cleaning up after hard-partying football players. Yeah, we'd ditch the uniforms as soon as possible, too. Four words, people: Use the trash can.

Department Store Cashier
As Seen In: 'The Good Girl'
Why the Job Stinks: We're sure cashiers aren't all this miserable. In 'The Good Girl,' a bored Jennifer Aniston starts a torrid, ill-fated affair with an unstable stock boy (Jake Gyllenhaal) to fill, for a moment, the emptiness of her lackluster marriage and soul-deadening job. But we hear the pension plan rocks.

President of the United States
As Seen In: Any disaster movie
Why the Job Stinks: Who wouldn't want to be commander-in-chief and leader of the free world? Seems like a sweet gig ... unless you're in a movie. Then the chances increase exponentially that the country will be attacked by aliens, terrorists, meteors or some other natural disaster -- at which point some no-name renegade will save the day for everyone, making you look like an inept and cowardly schmuck. Kind of makes health care seem like a walk in the park.
