I was trawling around the webs looking for something, anything horror related to write about when I came across this teaser trailer for a title I'd rather not name at the moment. That was fifteen minutes ago. If you were to ask me what took place between then and now I could supply no answer. My brain shrank inside my skull and I experienced an existential shock somewhere between William Hurt devolving into a monkey in Altered States and John Lithgow sublimating into the mountainside in The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai Across the 8th Dimension. Frankly, I'm not sure how I made it back alive.

I apologize for being coy with the description, but I think you need to see the oddity to understand. Then again, maybe if enough of us ignore the play button on the teaser we can will it out of existence.

Am I the only one that was in the dark on this one? Someone out there must have known. I feel others have failed to warn their cinematic fraternity that Spanish Movie was on the horizon, that someone had finally spied the rough beast slouching towards Bethlehem once prophesied in a Yeats poem.

I kid, I kid. Obviously that teaser is too short to actually be an omen of the end of the world, but it sure is weird to see Leslie Nielsen dubbed in Spanish looking like he wandered away from his handlers on the set of "Doctor*ology". I'm kind of intrigued to see a Spanish spoof of Spanish horror movies, to be honest. They've certainly got a treasure chest of outstanding titles to plunder, I just hope there will be more [REC] references and, as seen in the second teaser, less dancing celebrities I'm just going to assume in my ignorant Yankee ways are the Spanish equivalent of Regis Philbin.

Thanks go to Aullidos for finding proof Nielsen is still out there.
