Screen Gems / Warner Bros. / Summit / Everett

    Kate Beckinsale, 'Underworld' (2003)
    Who She Played: Selene
Why She Gets Our Blood Flowing: As a vampire assassin, or "Death Dealer," she hunts down and kills Lycans (aka werewolves) and falls in love with a human (Scott Speedman), all while wearing impossibly tight black leather. That's what you call a triple threat.

    Screen Gems

Aaliyah, 'Queen of the Damned' (2002)
    Who She Played: Queen Akash
Why She Gets Our Blood Flowing: The R&B star famously sang "Age Ain't Nuthin' but a Number," and in the case of vampires, that's actually true. The queen vamp first ruled in 4000 B.C., and looks just as fiiiiiine 6,000 years later.

    Warner Bros.

    Jennifer Beals, 'Vampire's Kiss' (1989)
    Who She Played: Rachel
Why She Gets Our Blood Flowing: It's never clear if she's truly undead, but we'd rather believe she's a vampire than just some chick who bites Nicolas Cage in the neck and drinks his blood, causing him to eat roaches and sleep in a "coffin." Cuz that'd just be crazy.

    Everett Collection

    Nikki Reed, 'Twilight' (2008)
    Who She Plays: Rosalie Hale
Why She Gets Our Blood Flowing: Edward Cullen's (Robert Pattinson) adoptive sister -- a human-turned-vampire -- is vain, jealous and wants to give up her immortality to have kids. Still, she's reputed to be the most beautiful woman in the world, so she's got that going for her, which is nice.

    Summit

Angie Everheart, 'Bordello of Blood' (1996)
    Who She Plays: Lillith
Why She Gets Our Blood Flowing: All questions of quality aside, fiery redhead Everhart is a total knockout in this campy 'Tales From the Crypt' flick. And it says a lot to be able to stay sexy acting alongside Dennis Miller and the Coreys (Haim and Feldman).

    Everett Collection

    Catherine Deneuve, 'The Hunger' (1983)
    Who She Plays: Miriam
Why She Gets Our Blood Flowing: Have you seen Catherine Deneuve? The woman's so gorgeous, she was once considered to be the most beautiful woman in the world -- for real. And as an Egyptian vampiress she was seductive enough alone, but pair her with Susan Sarandon, and there's enough hotness there to light an eternal flame.

    ZUMA Press

Salma Hayek, 'From Dusk Till Dawn' (1996)
    Who She Plays: Santanico Pandemonium
Why She Gets Our Blood Flowing: She's that rare breed of woman you want to take home to mom: a vampire erotic dancer with a taste for her customers' blood. Bonus points: Over-actor Quentin Tarantino is one of her early victims.

    Everett Collection

Sharon Tate, 'The Fearless Vampire Killers' (1967)
    Who She Plays: Sarah Shagal
Why She Gets Our Blood Flowing: This crimson-haired beauty and tavern owner's daughter starts off as helpless victim, moves on to seductive bathtub vixen and ends up as transformed vampire liberator. We love her at every juncture.

    Everett Collection

    Traci Lords, 'Blade' (1998)
    Who She Plays: Racquel
Why She Gets Our Blood Flowing: She's a porn star! Playing a vampire! Kudos to the casting genius who came up with that one. Even though Blade (Wesley Snipes) kills Racquel in the first 10 minutes, fans were outraged when Lords turned down playing Racquel's twin in 'Blade II.'

    New Line Cinema
