It's like an animated 'Homeward Bound' -- if you added a hamster in a ball.

As far as animated movies go, the premise for Disney's 'Bolt' is pretty brilliant (or should we say, Pixar-esque?): A dog actor who plays a superhero dog on TV -- and believes it all real -- is accidentally released into the real world, where he must find his way home. (Side note: Thank you for not making this live action.)

A 'Homeward Bound'-like adventure ensues, as Bolt (voiced by John Travolta) must make his way across the country from New York City back to Hollywood to reunite with his "owner" Penny (Miley Cyrus).

In this amusing exclusive clip, Bolt begins his partnership with a housecat named Mittens (Susie Essman) and hamster named Rhino (Mark Walton). Yes, a hamster named Rhino.

'Bolt' opens everywhere November 21.
