Sally Hawkins could be the happiest Oscar nominee ever.

After 2004's serious downer 'Vera Drake,' Mike Leigh hits the other side of the mood spectrum with 'Happy Go Lucky,' a film about -- yep, you guessed it -- someone very, very happy.

Of course Poppy (Sally Hawkins) is so content with her life as a kindergarten teacher by day, party girl by night, that you almost want to hate her. Hawkins is drawing raves across the board for her nutty performance in this "deceptive" comedy, and could very well be on her way to an Oscar nomination.

In this exclusive clip, Poppy gets a talking-to by her (younger!) sister, who's so straight arrow, she's married, pregnant ... and has a pension!

'Happy Go Lucky' opens in limited release Friday.
