That sounds a lot less frightening than the actual game, but either the trade received a watered-down synopsis or Clock Tower will indeed be a disappointment to gamers. I've never played any of the Clock Tower games myself, but from what I've gathered from fan feedback, they're actually pretty scary. They center on a serial killer called the Scissorman, who stalks the player, who must survive by figuring out clues (feel free to correct me or elaborate if you've played).
Interestingly enough, Snow has been known to stalk me in my nightmares, in which she gangs up with lookalike Ann Coulter and torments me with punches to the groin (it's all thanks to this scene from Snow's film On the Doll). Regardless of my fears of the actress, though, she's continuing to make a strong career for herself somehow without really making a strong name for herself. Following a supporting turn in the musical Hairspray, she probably should be doing something better than starring in bad horror films, even if Prom Night was technically a box office success.
