It might look like Pixar and sound like Pixar, but Disney's upcoming Meet the Robinsons is indeed ... all Disney. Put into production long before Pixar and Disney kissed and made up, Meet the Robinsons has no doubt been improved with the reconciliation between the Mouse House and John Lasseter's Pixa-teers. Most importantly, based on what I saw in this brand-new trailer, the flick looks like a good deal of fun.

Based on the book A Day with Wilbur Robinson by William Joyce, MTR tells the story of a mega-brilliant young boy who dreams of finding his real family -- only to find himself jettisoned into the future when a mysterious new friend's time machine goes funky. He meets up with a dizzyingly insane family, butts heads with a sneering villain, and enjoys a whole bunch of colorful adventures. Basically, if you have kids between the ages of 5 and 12, you may as well just reserve your popcorn right now.

The voice cast is a rather eclectic mix: Tom Selleck, Angela Bassett, Adam West, Laurie Metcalf, Harland Williams and Tom Kenny (among others) provide the pipes for this one. You and your kids can Meet the Robinsons on March 30th.
