'Shrek' fans, sit back and behold the first-ever look on this planet (or any other) at the brand-new poster for 'Shrek the Third.' Click on the image to your left for a bigger version.
The poster is nice and simple -- it doesn't have to make you want to see the movie because, let's face it, you already do. But it does clue fans in on the plot of the lucrative CGI franchise's third installment.
The crown you see on Shrek's bulbous green noggin is there because King Harold (John Cleese) falls ill, leaving Shrek (Mike Myers) and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) to rule over Far, Far Away. Humble ogre that he is, Shrek isn't all that psyched about ascending the throne, so he, Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and Puss 'n' Boots (Antonio Banderas) set out the find the true heir to the kingship: Fiona's wayward brother Artie, voiced by none other than Justin Timberlake. Hmmm ... should ladies start looking forward to Artie busting out some sweet, sweet CGI dance moves to a performance of 'Sexyback'? We'd bet the kingdom on it.
